Huskies Going Global

The University of Washington has opened its second European learning center in León, Spain. The city of León has lent the university 9000 square feet to use in one of their palaces. In 2009, this palace underwent a $33.6 million renovation.

Facebook Coming to Seattle

Facebook announced that they will be opening up a new Seattle-based office in July citing Seattle's great quality-of-life and tremendous talent pool in the city and at the UW as a driving factor for selection.
